To one side of the house, on a slightly lower level, is the swimming pool (13 metres), with protective enclosure, for the safety of young children. A covered terrace to one side houses a fridge, changing area and WC. There is also a large teak dining table and chairs for dining outdoors. Within the garden there is a children's swing and two soccer goals.
The spacious ground floor living areas have the original vaulted ceilings, very thick walls and stone flagged floors, keeping the rooms cool during the summer months. Stone archways connect the various living and dining areas and there is a huge old stone fireplace in the main living room. The rooms are furnished to a particularly high standard with beautiful oriental antiques. The very well equipped kitchen opens to a large terrace overlooking the swimming pool.
