La Cucina Caldesi owned by husband and wife team, Giancarlo and Katie Caldesi is one of Central London’s most revered Italian cookery schools. The school offers a variety of courses both at the weekend, daytime and evening; the courses are open to everybody, from keen cooks to complete beginners, from adults to teenagers and children. Cooking and wine tasting is taught by visiting celebrity chefs, food writers & wine experts, as well as by the experienced La Cucina Caldesi staff.
The cookery school offers a range of tailor made cookery events for corporate group events, birthday celebrations, hen and stag days, and private dining.

The courses follow the principle that the best way to learn is to be involved in the cooking, all courses at La Cucina Caldesi have been developed to be as hands-on as possible, offering plenty of opportunities to taste, stir and try whilst dishes are being prepared, aiming to give an insight into the delectable world of Italian bread, pasta, seasonal produce and wine tasting.
From 2010 the Caldesis started to run cookery courses both at their restaurant”Caldesi in Campagna” in Bray and at their house in Gerrards Cross. “Katie’s kitchen”, the series of cookery classes taught in their own home, has introduced a more flexible format, with courses including everything from a quick morning class to a full day of butchery involving a trip to the local farm.
