Dating from the 14th century, this beautiful chateau has been totally restored to its original splendour. It is very conveniently situated just 5 minutes drive from the centre of Avignon, so in a great location for visiting the many historic and cultural places of interest here, and also very accessible by plane or TGV.
The chateau is surrounded by a lovely park like garden with flower beds and plenty of large trees providing shade. The interiors are elegantly decorated and furnished in a period style with antiques. The spacious and light living room has comfortable sofas and a central fireplace, and opens to the terrace. The dining room with original vaulted ceilings, also opens to the main terrace, while the master bedroom and bathroom open to a private side terrace. The other bedrooms, on the first floor, are all furnished in a different colour scheme. The three front bedrooms overlooking the garden are larger than the two rear bedrooms. Amenities include central heating, air conditioning in some bedrooms, large satellite TV/DVD and internet access. An adjacent extension to the chateau has recently been completed and offers a further four bedrooms, all well decorated and furnished, with air conditioning, TV and en-suite bathrooms. Prices are available for either 6 or 10 bedroom occupancy. There are also staff bedrooms available on request.
